Balloonrides

A morning flight is planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6:15AM, while on Friday and Saturday, an evening flight is scheduled as well.

Attractions on the Launch field

Coffee and Bärlibiberli will be served already before the morning flight; further regional specialties will be available all day at the Launch Bar.
After the early morning take off of the balloons, model balloons will be conquering the launch field for low flights.
The traditional night glow with classical music is planned for Saturday night. After the night glow, a launch of paper lanterns is planned.
Hopefully, on Friday and Saturday night, a tethered balloon will allow the visitors to gain an overview of the launch site without loosing contact with the ground
Of course there will be the jumping castle, the aerotrim and kites for everybody's entertainment!

Attractions off the Launch Field

The traditional "Off-Field" Programme will include

• the opening on the Landsgemeindeplatz with the official welcome and cocktail, rounded up with the launch of the Heart Balloon.
• flag jump with the Appenzeller and the Swiss Flags
• Guided tours through the village, organized by Appenzellerland Tourismus
• Guided tour through a company producing a typical regional product.
