A big thank you to all the participating Teams, our helpers, visitors, sponsors and supporters to have made the 3rd Held Trophy the Balloon Event With Heart such a success!

The Competition with Heart to promote ballooning invited you to a wonderful weekend with beautiful balloon rides, live music and an attractive programme on the launch field and in the village.

The unique combination of competition with the fun and social side of ballooning, humour, readiness to help and offering a helping hand to our youngsters creates a special atmosphere, attracting locals and visitors alike and thus made the balloon fiesta in Appenzell the place to be this year from May 23 - 25th.

4 flights could take place and the candle light glowing on saturday night was perfectly choreographed.
